The destined battle between Aang and the Fire Lord has finally come, but is our bald-arrowed hero prepared to take his life? < Spoilers Warning >
So I just finished watching the last four episodes Avatar: The Last Airbender on good ol Nickelodeon and oh boy was it great.
Lets talk about the fighting. The best way I would describe it would be … freaking sweet. Best one? Probably had to be Zuko versus Azula fight for sure for me. Those flame effects were nicely animated and very fluid and the music didn’t hurt either. That and psycho Azula was pretty cool, being all crazy and all. The Aang versus Fire Lord fight was pretty cool too, but I got a weird feeling as though the Fire Lord thought he was Iron Man the way he was moving. You know, how he propels himself by bursts of flames through his hands and feet, just like Iron Man! Anyways, I would have really liked to see more Toph action, cause well, she’s my favorite character and she deserves more air time god dammit! That scene where Toph was barely hanging on for her life and she thought it was the end and then she started to tear up. Absolutely priceless.
There was a lot of character development going on here. Zuko was having a hard time believing his Uncle would forgive him for all he had done to him and was afraid of being rejected by him. Azula was going insane as she couldn’t trust anyone around her ever since her two “friends” had left her. Aang had both girl problems and how to deal with the Fire Lord. The show could have just showed some shallow fighting for two hours and it still would have been good, but Avatar proves itself better than that by giving us some good character development.
What I really appreciated about the movie was by the ending you knew Aang and the show itself stuck to its roots. While a whole bunch of people really wanted Aang to go super berserk on the Fire Lord, which he did, he managed to end the battle under his own conditions. Throughout the movie, you see Aang in constant conflict between what the world wants him to do, kill the Fire Lord, and what Aang himself wants to do, end the war without taking the Fire Lord’s life. And by golly he does it, though the means of which he does was highly predictable.
As for the actual ending, I thought it was pretty dang good. Aang and the new Fire Lord Zuko have come together in rebuilding the world to a path of … peace and love … yuk, but still touching none-the-less. Oh, as for the kiss between Aang and Katara, terrible couple, I’ll leave it at that.
Finally, there was a two minute scene between Zuko and his Father who at this point was locked up in prison. He demanded to know where his mother was. If that doesn’t scream more Avatar I don’t know what does. And so with that, we bid farewell to the best modern day cartoon on television … < tear’s up > … Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Fun thing to do: Listen to the scene where Azula is chained and struggling, but just the audio, not the picture. That’s what it sounds like when you have sex with her.
Also, you can hear Sokka x Toph sex when he’s trying to prevent her from falling off the airship.
Oh I really love this show too! It’s so adorable, but I keep missing out on it when it’s on tv lols XD
psycho Azula is the best. gotta love her new hairdo!
I loved this movie and I disagree I think that Aang and Katara are the cutest couple ditto with Zzuko and May. And my 3 favorite parts were when katara chained up Azula and helped zuko out, second is when Zuko and May got together for the 2nd time. And first was when Aang and katara got together.
the avatar movie waz the best episode ever!!!!!!
i loved the part were aang was arguing with every body about killing the firelord.
my favorite 5 parts were 1. azula vs. zuko(the music on that part was freakin tight) 2. when aang fought the firelord and went into the avatar state (the bending efects were were very nice and fluent) 3. as i said before when aang was arguing with everybody 4. when aang was talking with the past avatars looking for guidence (avatar keochi was hecka mean and evil)
5. when aang and katara kissed (it was about time i mean we’ve ben waiting sence the show came out i yelled out “FINALLY”
As it stands i think i can speak for everybody who watched that movie when i say that movie was…THE BEST AVATAR EPISODE EVER!!!!!!!!!!
and when i say that… Avatar: The Last Airbender was the best thing to nickalodeon ever
