What to say, what to say. I had no idea this was going to be released by the fansubbers this morning, so I did not form any expectations about it, thus the generic feeling oozing out of this movie didn’t bother me at all. In all honesty, it was pretty good and I enjoyed it.
Anyways, first things first, Senna is the new character in town. I liked her. I liked here a lot. She’s energetic and free as a bird. She has some pretty cool moves, autumn leaves always animating from her sword strokes and what not that make it oh so much cooler. She’s girly and poor Ichigo pretty much played baby sister with her for half the movie trying to find her as she would always slip under his sights and stroll off somewhere.
I wished they could have done more with her. She pretty much stops developing as a character during the middle of the movie as the main villains start to take over and the story starts to kick in.
What was that? You want to know what this movie is about? It’s quite simple. The real world and Soul Society are being pulled together. Basically they are going to crash into each other and Senna plays a vital role in making this happen. Insert your generic bad guys seeking revenge and you pretty much have the plot in a nutshell. A very very small nutshell.
The fighting was, decent. Senna’s initial fight was the only memorable fight scene I can even remember right now. And it’s only been five minutes since I watched the movie. What does that say to you?
The animation was decent, nothing spectacular. It had its really nicely drawn scenes here and there, but nothing over the top.
Oh yes, as expected, the movie got really really sappy at the end.
Impressions – Basically a generic cash cow movie. Wasn’t the worse I have seen, it was somewhere between the lot of Shounen movies. The music was nice also, I forgot to mention that. So all in all, good if you are a Bleach fan, mediocre for anyone else. The final ending, the one after the credits, wrapped it up nicely if I do say so myself.

Meh, this movie is up there with all the Naruto Movies, Inuyasha Movies, One Piece movies, etc … all … generic cash cow movies. Though I do give credit to one One Piece movie, which was amazing, forgot which one it was though.
he, i thought this movie was okay, but i would give evn lower score, like 7. it’s juts it felt too rushed and for such n awesome character like Senna an hour and a half was certainly not enough. it’s an ok movie, animation was better than in the series of course, but nothing over the top like u said. but overall, it was good, yeah, probably 7 pts.
