It’s about god damn freaking time!
Even though this episode was just dumping filler flash backs into my face, I’m going to let that rant slide this week since I was genuinely excited for this one hour special.
Sasuke made his official return! They had some nice shots of him, acting all cool with his man chest just out there for the world to see. But when things finally picked up, he kicked some major Team Kakashi ass. That full body Chidori was pretty dang nice. Also his short but sweet fight with Captain Yamato was great as he had him completely pinned down with that Chidori infused sword.
The bit with the Nine Tails Fox and Sasuke, we’ve seen before. Hell it was the first thing we saw in the opening of the first episode! Other than that, the last words the demon left Sasuke with was very intriguing. Some foreshadowing going on here?
Impressions – Good episodes, no comments on the huge portion of flash backs, but none the less, I enjoyed it, and I do hate trudging through Naruto episodes. So the question is … what the hell happens next because I only read up to this point in the manga =(
