One Piece – 411 – 412

I was really looking forward to these episodes for whatever expectations I had about Boa Hancock, but jeez her actions are so unlikeable to the point where she is killing my enjoyment. I should have expected this type of attitude she carries when she kicked a cute kitten a few episodes back.

I could stand her destroying the children’s clay model of her but I think I cringed a bit when she was looking down at Old Lady Nyon by tilting her head backwards so she was looking up instead. What in the world?

On the other hand, poor Marguerite and friends, it was a good effort to plead their case on behalf of Luffy and beg for forgiveness. Why oh why! I liked her, but there she goes, turned to stone. Maybe she’ll turn back to normal? Maybe? =(

Luffy’s reaction to Marguerite turned into stone is great. Not a lot of things piss the guy off, but when he becomes as angry as he does, it always makes for a great scene filled with tension. I really like how they draw him when he gets serious, big eyed with dark shadows on his face.

For the actual 15 minutes worth of real content, good stuff. Now if they would stop taking forever to get anywhere with the story! At least the previous look good.
