I was expecting quite a battle for this episode, rather I got some mumbo jumbo about Haki this and Haki that. Confused and not content with the crazy act Luffy pulls by what seems to be just an extraordinary scream, I went and did what any impatient fan does, Google the answers.
Sadly enough even the manga has done little to explain the entire concept but at least I understand the very basics. I guess if the manga hasn’t gone into any real significant depth into the whole Haki issue, it must not play a prominent role in the immediate future. With that in mind I’ll just let the whole thing go.
As for the rest of the episode, the fighting was pretty tame since the whole Haki thing took center-stage. I was expecting Luffy to bust out a Gear Second but by the looks of the preview that’s what I have to look forward too. I did like how he delayed the start of the battle by moving the stoned Marguerite and friends out of harm’s way believing he can somehow turn them back.
Is it me or is Hancock’s forehead a bit too large?
