Summary
- A reluctant Togo is given orders to start combat practice as soon as possible from the higher ups. If no results are shown the Sonic Diver Squad will be disbanded.
- The girls are given one month to demonstrate some flight formations to a crowd of military generals. Togo still decides to keep the weapons practice from the girls in order to avoid creating anymore pressure from learning the formations.
- Eika is given the responsibility of figuring out how the other two girls could match her flying skills since the group is not doing well with the formations at all. Eika comes up with the idea of participating in synchronized swimming since she wants to reinforce the idea of communication and distance among them when swimming and apply it to when they are flying.
- Their formations are finally perfect but the girls are now forced to shoot down some flying targets. Otoha does terrible as she misses all the targets. A few days of practice corrects that problem soon enough.
- On demonstration day everything goes perfect. It is now Reijin’s turn at target practice. As soon as the targets are released Reijin’s weapon system fails. At the last moment Reijin reveals to Otoha the MV Sword that it is equipped with and quickly destroys all the targets sword style.
- At the end of the episode Otoha renames Reijin to Zero and all the girls are promoted with higher ranks and becoming the official pilots of their respective Sonic Diver.
Impressions – Now now, who wasn’t expecting a sword to magically appear? Saw that coming from a mile away. Now we get some real plot next episode, hopefully. Still itching for some loli girls in mecha to rip apart some tentacle monsters you know?
Anyways, still a pretty good series, the only one I actually like the most out of the new stuff that came out a few weeks ago.
